GFS has been a resource provider for many of the leading management consulting firms. We have been able to provide these firms with industry professionals who have "in the trenches" hands-on, operations experience. Our professionals have ably supported these management consultants with the relevant expertise necessary to help support systems conversions, consolidate back office functions and seamlessly integrate newly acquired financial institutions.

In 1997, GFS merged with IMIS, a project management and system implementation-focused consulting firm, also specializing in the financial services arena. With IMIS' expertise in managing system conversions and merger integrations, partnered with GFS' ability to shore up a client's back office during changing times, the two firms complemented each other's service offerings extremely well and the new firm quickly grew to over $25 million in combined annual revenue.

In 1998, IMIS-GFS became part of Mastech, a $500 million global information technology consulting firm. IMIS and GFS were now able to offer clients access to highly skilled information technology (IT) professionals.

Mastech reorganized in 2008 to form Mastech Holding's, Inc. (AMEX: MHH). As a result, GFS is once again an independent business entity under the umbrella of Mastech Holdings, Inc.
